Futuroscope – Situated just north of Poitiers, Futuroscope is a theme park with lots of interactive displays, rides & roller coasters etc |
Nautilis – just north of Angouleme, Nautilis is a large water park covering 5 hectares with a range of water based activities such as swimming, a beach, water slides, wave machine, ice rink (winter) & sailing. |
Zoo de la Palmyre – located just north of Royan, the zoo is claimed to be one of the best in France. Open all year round admission is 14€ for adults and 10€ for children between 3 & 12. |
Appel de la Foret – is a series of adventure trails in the woods located just outside Thenon east of Perigueux. From 5 to 77 years of age there are 10 progressive trails and over 110 activities including 25 fantastic zip slides. Open Apr to Oct pm only (7 days a week 9am -8pm Jul & Aug) |
Pescalis – Located North East of Angouleme this visitor attraction is called the “universe of fish” and contains aquariums, theatres and an external lake where you can learn to fish or practice your technique. There is also a range of playgrounds, restaurants, bike hire etc |
La Parc Aquarium du Perigord Noir. Open mid February to mid November 7 days a week, this is Europe’s largest private aquarium where you can observe fish in their natural environment. Also with picnic area, mini golf, restaurant and substantial parking. Located in Bugue. |
