Our rear garden is of a good size, fully enclosed and not overlooked. The garden is only accessible through the house making for a safe environment for small children playing. The village itself has little traffic.
We have found that the local supermarkets sell a wide range of items for babies/ small children and it is generally possible to find the same brand names as in the UK. We have had no problem finding suitable nappies, wipes, formula, milk etc although recommend if you have any particular requirements that you bring your own.
In France generally small children and babies are more than welcome and our local restaurant makes them particularly welcome with a small play area and toys to keep them amused during your meal.
There are numerous activities in the area to amuse children of all ages (even grown up children like us!) and the website provides a brief summary of some of the main ones. The local Office de Tourisme’s have a wealth of information in English to help in your selection.
